Return and Refund Policy

At The Numbered Canvas, your experience matters to us. Each kit is thoughtfully curated and produced with care, and we stand behind the quality of our products. If something isn’t right, we encourage you to reach out — we review every request with fairness and care and will always aim to find a reasonable solution.

Timeframe for Requests

Requests relating to damaged items, unusable paints, or defective components must be submitted within 7 days of receiving your order, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Requests relating to lost, undelivered, or missing shipments must be submitted within 30 days of the expected delivery date.

Requests submitted after these timeframes may not be eligible for review.

Lost or Undelivered Orders

All orders are shipped with complimentary shipping insurance.

In the rare event that your package is confirmed lost in transit or not delivered to the shipping address provided at checkout, we will, at our discretion, issue a replacement or a refund.

If you believe your order may be lost or undelivered, please contact us via our Contact page or at support@thenumberedcanvas.com within 30 days of the expected delivery date.

When reaching out, please include any relevant details (and photos, where applicable) so we can assess the situation promptly.

Orders marked as delivered by the carrier but not received are not automatically considered lost; however, we will assist you in opening an investigation with the carrier where possible.

Requests submitted more than 30 days after the expected delivery date may not be eligible for review.

All resolutions are subject to verification.

Damaged Orders or Unusable Paints

If your kit arrives damaged, or if any paints are dry, leaking, or unusable, please contact us via our Contact page or at support@thenumberedcanvas.com within 30 days of receipt.

Where appropriate, we will arrange for a replacement or a refund, depending on the nature of the issue.

To help us resolve the matter quickly, we may request photos of the damaged item or affected components.

Custom Kits

Custom Kits are made specifically for you based on your selected image or specifications. For this reason, Custom Kits are not eligible for return or exchange once production has begun, except where there is an issue with the order.

If your Custom Kit:

  • Arrives damaged or with unusable or defective paints
  • Is lost or not delivered

please contact us within 30 days of receipt, and we will make it right by arranging a replacement or refund, as appropriate.

“Not as Expected” & Artistic Variations

Our kits are artistic interpretations. While we make every effort to accurately represent our products, minor variations in color, tone, segmentation, or detail are inherent to the artistic and production process and do not constitute defects.

That said, if you receive your order and feel that something is genuinely not as expected, we encourage you to reach out within 30 days of receipt. Each case is reviewed individually, and a refund, replacement, or alternative resolution may be offered at our discretion.

Our goal is for every purchase to feel like a confident, no-stress decision.

Returns for Standard (Non-Custom) Kits

For non-custom kits, if there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 30 days of receipt. We will assess each request individually and advise on the appropriate next steps.

Returned items, where approved, must be unused and in their original condition unless the return is due to damage or defect.
